 The Bierman building will be a redevelopment of two historic buildings in downtown Northfield. The properties had housed a funeral home, furniture store and other retail. Buildings date back to 1880. The project has been reviewed and approved through the State Historic Preservation office, and the National Park Service. The 21,000 SF property will keep retail on first floor, and convert the second floor to multi-family apartments.
